A rabbit vibrator has two parts: a shaft for internal stimulation and a smaller outer arm that rests against the clitoris, so both are stimulated at once. The name comes from early designs whose outer arm was shaped like a rabbit’s ears.
What to compare
- Shaft length and diameter, and how much of it is insertable
- How flexible the outer arm is, so it reaches comfortably
- Functions: vibration only, or added thrusting, rotation or suction
- Rechargeable or battery powered
- How the controls work: separate buttons for shaft and arm are easier
Which rabbit is right for a beginner?
Choose a slimmer shaft, around 3 cm across, and a simple control layout. Extra functions such as thrusting or suction add intensity and price; they are worth it once you know what you enjoy.
Use and care
Apply water-based lubricant, insert the shaft and position the outer arm against the clitoris before switching on. Start on the lowest setting. Clean before and after every use with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, keeping charging points and battery caps dry, and store it on its own.
