Bondage Kits

A bondage kit is a matched set of restraints and sensation toys sold together, usually cuffs, a blindfold and a few extras such as a collar, rope, a flogger or a paddle. Kits are aimed at beginners: they cost less than buying each piece and everything is designed to work together.

What is usually included?

• Wrist and ankle cuffs, often with connecting clips or chains
• A blindfold
• A collar and lead
• Rope or under-bed straps
• Sensation toys: a flogger, paddle, tickler or nipple clamps
• Sometimes a gag

What to compare

Count the pieces you would actually use rather than the total. Check how the cuffs fasten and their size range, whether linings are soft, and whether restraints release quickly. Under-bed sets add straps that turn any bed into an anchor point.

Safe restraint, in brief

Agree limits and a safeword before you start, plus a signal that works without speech. You should be able to slide two fingers under any restraint. Never tie anything around the neck, never leave a restrained person alone and keep safety scissors within reach. Check in often and release at the first sign of numbness, cold or panic.
