Who we are

What we collect
- Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, telephone number and the products you order.
- Account details, only if you create an account: your name, email address and order history.
- Messages you send us, such as an email about an order, a return or a question.
- Basic technical data that the website server records automatically, such as your IP address and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site working.
- Anonymous visit statistics: daily totals of how the website is used, such as how many times a page was opened. They hold no name, no IP address and no identifier, so they are not linked to you. Our cookie policy explains how we count visits and how to opt out.
Payment is handled by PayPal. When you pay by card or with PayPal, your payment details go to PayPal and not to us. We never see or store your full card number; we receive confirmation that the payment was made and the payer details PayPal shares with us for the order.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To take payment, process and deliver your order, and deal with returns and refunds. This is necessary to carry out our contract with you.
- To send you service emails about your order, such as the order confirmation, the tracking number and the delivery update. This is part of the same contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records and to meet other legal duties.
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure, which is in our legitimate interests.
- To answer your questions, which is in our legitimate interests and often needed to carry out your order.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to, and we do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Our fulfilment and delivery partners, who prepare and send your parcel. To do this we give them your name, delivery address, telephone number and the items you ordered. Some of them may be located outside the United Kingdom. We share this information only because it is necessary to deliver the goods you have ordered.
- PayPal, to take payment and issue refunds.
- Our website hosting and email providers, which store the information on our behalf.
- Authorities, if the law requires us to share information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to deal with the order, returns and any complaint, and to meet legal and accounting duties, which is typically up to six years. We delete or anonymise other information when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or stop our use of it, and to move it to another provider. Some of these rights apply only in certain situations, and we may need to keep information that the law requires us to keep. To use any of them, email orders@avelunexa.com.
